READER PRIVACY AND RESPONSIBLE AI
What a reader borrows stays between them and the shelf.
A good librarian knows what you might enjoy next and keeps it to themselves. Dvookz1 is built the same way.
Suggestions are private
Reading suggestions are shown only to the reader. Nobody else sees them, including library staff.
Records for operations only
Librarians see borrowing records only to run the library: issues, returns, reservations and fines.
Your collection only
AI suggestions come only from your catalogue and the resources you subscribe to.
Librarians approve AI drafts
Subjects and summaries drafted by AI reach the catalogue only after a librarian approves them.
Care for young readers
Children's data is used only for library services, with the school's consent, and never for advertising.
Encrypted, never sold
Library data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never sold or shared for marketing.

Asked at the enquiry counter.
What librarians ask us most before they move their library.
Can we move from our current library software?
Yes. We migrate your catalogue, members and loan history from e-Granthalaya, SOUL, Koha, Libsys, other systems or spreadsheets. Accession numbers are kept as they are.
Does it support RFID?
Yes. RFID Gate works with ISO 15693 tags for tagging stations, self-check kiosks, book drops, security gates and handheld stock verification. Barcodes keep working alongside RFID.
Can students search from their phones?
Yes. Readers search the catalogue, see availability and shelf location, renew loans and reserve books from any phone browser, with no app to install.
Is reading history private?
Yes. Only the reader sees their own suggestions. Librarians see borrowing records only for library operations, and reading history is never sold or used for advertising.
Does it produce NAAC reports?
Yes. Library Reports prepares the library data used under NAAC Criterion 4.2, including collection, e-resources, footfall and usage per day, as PDF and Excel.
How long does setup take?
A single-branch library is usually issuing books within a week of sending its data. RFID tagging runs alongside, at the pace of your shelves.
